In my line of work, I visit many hotels and I've reached Titanium status with Marriott for 3 straight years. During this time, I've been to some great hotels as well as some duds and I have to say that I ALWAYS look forward to my stays at the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Venice, Florida. From the moment I walk in, I am always greeted by friendly, warm, and helpful people. Honestly, the staff here are incredible and truly make you feel at home. If you can, make sure to get here in the morning as the complementary breakfast is of very high quality thanks to the Waffle King himself, Dennis. Seriously, ask him to make you a delicious waffle. The man is awesome. He is always very friendly, loves talking to people, and is incredibly helpful. And, if he's free, he might even help you take out your luggage from your car (unsolicited!...I'm not kidding!). I'm heartened that Dennis goes the extra mile for hotel guests. He's the kind of guy that renews one's faith in humanity. It's amazing what a waffle and a smile can do. Dennis always makes sure that the breakfast buffet is fully stocked on all breakfast items (my favorites being boiled eggs, dessert muffins, English Muffins, and Greek Yogurt). I give the TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Venice, Florida the highest possible praise and Dennis is a BIG reason for it. Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

Hotel is very clean and friendly, We especially enjoy Dennis at the breakfast buffet. The food is excellent with wide selection. Dennis is on hand with a smiling face to greet us each day.
The staff is friendly and accommodating. We will recommend this hotel to people staying in Venice, FL.

Spent several months here the whole staff was amazing. Dennis and Peggy served your customers as well as myself with a smile for breakfast. Sara, Ana, Steven and Donna at the front desk and over house keeping. They always very polite and engaged in conversation. This is important to me Because when you’re away from your family a month at a time. It nice to feel like you’re coming home after a long day of work.

Great stay! We were checked in by Ana who was very friendly and informative. The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The Waffle King and Peggy served the best breakfast. Five stars all the way! We’ll be back for sure!!

Tried to upgrade to a larger room; however, were all sold out, which made it difficult to work in the smaller rooms.....still was very nice and the location was perfect! I was able to work around the challenges of the smaller room.

Breakfast was amazing, and DENNIS was even better! Dennis was always friendly and personable, making the breakfast that much better. Dennis definitely helps the Marriott keep the great reputation!

We have a long stay almost a whole month. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful they have a free breakfast every morning and it's absolutely fantastic! They have cereal chocolate milk yogurt oatmeal with 15 different ingredients you can add eggs scrambled eggs potatoes French toast sticks bacon ready to make waffles many bread options including English muffins and bagels add muffins also lots of fruit along with things like peanut butter and Nutella add cream cheese. They also have coffee obviously and juices. Breakfast is served between 6:30 and 9:30 weekdays and 7 and 10:00 on the weekend. The servers there are very great they always make sure everything is fully stocked and they are friendly and helpful Dennis is one of my favorites he's absolutely the sweetest man. I am so thankful to have them all there every morning

We recently spent a week here and were quite impressed with the place. Everything was clean and comfortable, with an amazing staff. Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the housekeeping and maintenance staff. Sarah and Mike were especially so.
The free breakfast was great. Good food served by the Waffle King, Dennis and his lovely "wife" Peggy really made it enjoyable. We looked forward to breakfast when they were there. Dennis is a great ambassador for the hotel (and Peggy keeps him in check). They are a great team. The location worked well for us as it is accessible to so many things. The only bad thing was the water pressure in our showerhead, but with everything else being so good it was just a minor issue that we could deal with. I highly recommend staying here, and we will be back. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable.

Front desk staff (especially Steven) are awesome! I've been here for work for 35 days now with a few more to go. They have been very personable and professional, making sure your stay is enjoyable.
The rooms are modern with nice furnishings but as someone who spends more than 150 days per year in hotels find them to be a little more cramped than other long term rooms but all is good here with a very convenient location with many nearby food options. You know what they say about real estate, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Couple that with the customer service and it's a A+ property.
