The receptionist(s) aren't very welcoming at all. They are very rude, unprofessional, and gossip like crazy. Sometimes I would be sitting in the lobby and they would always be pointing and laughing at people. Grown people still acting like they are in high school its pathetic! The location is not very nice. It's around Oak Ridge. Be very careful where you park. Second night our car got broken into. They tore up the steering. I know it's not the hotels fault but still. They only have cameras near the entrance nowhere else on the outside of the hotel. It seemed like every night something was going on around that area. Always a ton of cars parked everywhere and racing. Police cars chasing people. Big groups of very sketchy people walking around. The housekeepers had no clue as to what we wanted when we tried to communicate with them. The free breakfast was okay though. Sometimes the turkey sausage was cold. Not a good variety of cereals. The waffle makers were quite fun to watch. Just wish they had more options though. Probably not recommended.

All stars go to the spacious room. It was massive with lots of space apart from beds. Full kitchen, apartment style fridge, shower with walk-in closet, it was clean. Location, free breakfast was also great.

Shower was disappointing with half door style(whoever came up with the idea). So was breakfast crowded and unfriendly staff. Egg scramble, sausage, boiled eggs, breads, apple muffin, waffles, oat meal, Juice.

Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for the price.

POSITIVES:

• The hotel is very nice and looks new.
• My room appeared to look very clean.
• The front desk staff was very helpful.
• There are a decent amount of outlets and charging ports.
• The kitchenette area is very nice and the fridge is a decent size.
• There is enough room for toiletries in the bathroom.

NEGATIVES:

• The price of the hotel is decent for the area, but they charged $26 more for parking! This fee is very expensive and I was not aware of this until I got to the property, so this was deceiving when searching for the best price in the area and thus, this basically increased the price of my stay to $156.50 per night.
• The WiFi wasn't working the first two days of my stay.
• There is only one bin inside the closet for clothes (no dresser drawers).
• The pillows are way too mushy.
• The desk lighting is poor.
• The shower is a decent size, but the shower head doesn’t wash off your body very well because of very low pressure.
• The evening front desk employee left the music playing throughout the hotel on the evening of 9/20/24 so I could hear the thumping bass noise up on the 3rd floor. It was very annoying and hard to stay asleep that night.
• The housekeeping staff made the bed and left fresh towels on 9/19/24, but I get very annoyed that I have to request this service at every hotel I visit since 2020. It is so frustrating. Hotels make a lot of money, so they can certainly afford more housekeeping staff members to clean rooms.
• The breakfast food was absolutely awful, the orange juice tasted like it was made with a powder mix, and the coffee was bad. I don't have any complaints about the breakfast staff.

We stayed here right after the hurricane because we lost power at another hotel and needed something last minute. I thought the bed was a little too firm but I actually sleep great. Room was comfortable and and clean and the staff was great. The only issue we had was the lack of water pressure for the shower.

Worst hotel ever. Place is so dirty. The microwave didn't even work. Went to use it the day we left and someone didn't even come until we checked out.
The staff took literally over 13 hours to bring us towels and bedsheets. The front desk just kept writing it down in her book but never told the house cleaning group.
The room ac doesn't work properly in the hotel room.
They don't tell you anything about the parking fee. Which wouldn't be a big deal if it was advertised or said beforehand.
The wifi wasn't working properly.
The bed sheets are stained yellow. Even the "clean" ones they bought.
Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
The only good thing this hotel has going for it is the location.
